The Glassmen Alumni Ensemble has been invited to perform as the opening act for DCI’s SoundSport competition taking place at Lucas Oil Stadium prior to World Class Finals. Here’s some information about the performance and the preparations and rehearsals taking place prior to the performance. Be sure to check this page for updates as the performance gets closer.

Performance Time and Location:
The performance will take place at 2:30 PM on Saturday, August 10, outside of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the DCI World Championships this year. The GAE will perform a 5-7 minute exhibition set as the opening act before the competing units.

Musical Selections:
Due to the shorter performance time frame, the GAE has limited their musical selections to the following songs:

In the Mood
Nights in White Satin part 2
Just a Gigolo

If you need music, contact Kevin Gamin at webmaster@glassmenalumni.org.

Membership Requirements:
Membership in the Glassmen Alumni Ensemble is open to the following:

Alumni of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps (must have marched at least one season)
Alumni of the Glassmen Alumni Ensemble (2006 or 2013)

Members must pay a $40 registration fee. The fee will cover the cost of a GAE t-shirt and other related expenses including access to Lucas Oil Stadium during DCI Finals. Those who have already paid the $40 fee do not need to do so again.
